In my project entitled, “The Plague of Domestic Insanity” I explore the relationship between a young brother and sister living together in their family's home in rural Pennsylvania. Within the guise of a staged narrative, I am able to obtain a closer understanding of the subjects than possible with a purely documentary approach. The process creates a dichotomy between how I understand and interpret the subject’s relationship to one another and how the subjects see themselves.
