The project, "Superficiality" attempts to examine photographs that appear to be true or real only until examined more closely. More accurately, the photographs begin their lives as truths, but it is only after the process of juxtaposition and titling that the truths of the photographs are called into question. By using a multitude of techniques, formats and subject matter, the photographs themselves begin to take part in the funny and sometimes ironic commentary.
